Jannet Molina-Manteiga, LCSW, LAc, Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM)
Jannet Molina-Manteiga is an acupuncturist licensed by the New Jersey Acupuncture Examining Board and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is an active member of the New Jersey Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NJAAOM), the American Acupuncture Council and the National Association of Social Workers. She also serves as an Independent Medical Examiner.
Ms. Manteiga completed her Master Diploma at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montclair, NJ, where she graduated with high honors. She trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese Acupuncture and 5-Element Acupuncture. Ms. Manteiga is also a graduate of New York University where she earned a Master Degree in Clinical Social Work. She also earned a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. She has trained in Qigong and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and is a Level II-Reiki Practitioner.
She has been a mental health practitioner for over 13 years. During her practice as a psychotherapist, she noticed that her patients complained about physical ailments, especially, during times of heightened stress. She became interested in the mind-body connection and how it applied to her patients� overall health.
Ms. Manteiga also served as faculty at Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine where she taught research and at Hudson County Community College where she taught psychology.
Aili Zhu, DC, LAc, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM)
Dr. Aili Zhu is a Licensed Chiropractor and Acupuncturist (NY, NJ) and board certified nationally by the NCCAOM. Dr. Zhu received a Doctor of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. She then completed a graduate degree in acupuncture at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montclair, New Jersey. Her background in chiropractic has given her an extensive understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
Dr. Zhu is able to combine the science of chiropractic with the ancient art of acupuncture. This combination gives her a unique insight into treating patients more effectively with a wide variety of medical conditions. Dr. Zhu also practices physical rehabilitation, nutritional counseling and Chinese herbal medicine. She has appeared on the television show, "One on One with Steve Adubato."
Dr. Zhu is currently teaching as well as assisting in curriculum development at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine. She has also served as the Clinic Dean.
